I am an enthusiastic data scientist in the R&D team at Geollect. At Geollect, I am part of a team that develops and maintains the backend software used in some Geollect products. On top of this I spend my time exploring the vast data sources at Geollect and the wider web in order to develop new and exciting products in the geospatial sector. I am really passionate about finding new and interesting trends in datasets and I am excited to turn these into interesting products.
I was awarded a PhD in theoretical chemistry in 2020 and a masters in chemistry in 2016. Prior to joining Geollect I was a research fellow at the University of Bath using data from simulations to design new energy materials.
During my academic career I developed new, open source research software, published articles in chemistry journals and talked about my research at conferences around the world.
Outside of work I like to be active, I play rugby, cricket and I enjoy long cycle rides.
