Guy Coop

Guy Joined Geollect as a Data Scientist in March 2020 to work with the Data Science team on the situational awareness platform Geonius, and to assist with the upcoming work that Geollect is doing with Natural Language Processing.

Guy was a PhD Student at the University of Birmingham with a focus on Natural Language Processing, as well as Speech and Signal processing. He is a Python machine learning specialist with experience in most domains of ML, such as image analysis and algorithmic trading. When he’s not working, you’ll probably find him out on a walk somewhere with his dog.

Guy has a background in Engineering and Computer Science so he’s happiest when he’s getting stuck in with actually building something, be it software or hardware.
