Josh Nock

Josh joined Geollect in October 2019, having completed a Master’s degree in Remote Sensing and Applied GIS at the University of Southampton, before putting his geospatial intelligence skills to work in the utility and environmental sectors.

Since joining the team, Josh’s role has diversified a lot. He has worked on an array of projects including developing online platforms for sectors including cruise, insurance, defence and health, as well as supply chain operations.

Josh really enjoys cartographic design and data structuring, as well as working on innovative ideas to optimise user experience. His aim is that each product he works on is simple to use, easy to understand and packed with useful information, as he understands good user experience is vital for a successful product.

Outside of work Josh is a keen cook and enjoys experimenting with new recipes and flavours. An animal lover, Josh loves that the office is next to a wildlife conservation park, meaning he can visit the bears and wolves on his lunch break!
