Robert Parkington

Robert joined Geollect as an Intelligence Analyst in June 2021, having completed a Masters in Intelligence and Security Studies the year before. During this time he focused on Geopolitics, in particular Russia’s cross-domain usage of pseudo-state forces in Syria and the strategic implications for the Russian state.

Robert is responsible for the collection, processing and dissemination of all intelligence products. Within this remit, this includes security and threat assessments and investigations, using skills gained from his studies and honed by completing a course with Bellingcat focused on open-source investigative techniques.

Outside the office Robert is an active member of several online international communities, including a rather short-lived adventure in Esports. Offline Robert enjoys cycling on the historic Ridgeway near his home with friends and cooking up a storm.
