Anna is passionate about applying machine learning to extract insights from text. Over the past few years, there was a significant improvement in the field of natural language processing, enabling better machine translation, information extraction, and many others. However, state-of-the-art models have been shown to manifest systematic gender, racial, and religious discrimination, often amplifying biases present in the data they are trained on. Anna has developed a strong interest in the topic, with the focus on challenges and limitations surrounding the use of AI.
