Geollect is part of an alliance led by Techmodal, a Bristol-based applied data science business, that has won a two year contract worth up to £8.3 million to become the Royal Navy’s Digital Service Programme Partner for Data Science to deliver a scalable, agile data science capability to the Royal Navy, at pace.

Techmodal will create a data science delivery cell with the Royal Navy’s Digital Services (NDS) division to help the Royal Navy to be a fully digital organisation by 2023. The cell will work with NDS and Dstl data scientists to provide the Royal Navy with operational advantage and will drive a digital culture, underpinned by support and knowledge transfer from industry experts Geollect, Adarga, Capgemini and Rebellion Defence.

Techmodal and the rest of the consortium will utilise their expertise and track record of delivery, to become, together, a cutting-edge transformative data science provider that can be relied on to deliver at scale. Geollect will deliver technical expertise, knowledge support, and specialist data science capability to make this partnership a success.
